Suzhou is a city on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and on the shores of Lake Taihu in the province of Jiangsu, China. 4. The Drunken Chef (as mentioned in the restaurants section) is also a good spot for a pint and a chat.
There are four Blue Marlin restaurants dotted around Suzhou that are good if you fancy a quiet drink.
Several more places that sound promising are opening soon including an Irish bar and a 'Paulhaner Brauhaus'.
