Airasia new route Medan to Hong Kong

Good news for Indonesia travellers especially Medan City who want to travel to Hong Kong. Airasia, World Low Cost Airlines, had just launched its new route 4 weekly Medan - Hong Kong. Service operates with Airbus A320 aircraft. This also marks Air Asia Group’s 6th route to Hong Kong.

The flight will take 3.5 hours, and start fly from January 16, 2011. Medan is also the first city who fly to Hong Kong directly from Airasia.

Medan, Indonesia has been building a name for itself as an escape to city life with the stunning scenic attractions it offers. Being the nation's third largest city, Medan is the home to a vast variety of cuisines, the harbor of fruits of an energized milieu, and is where the spectacular Lake Toba, the largest volcanic lake in South-East Asia situated.

Route Medan - Hong Kong will start a new era for China-Indonesia travelling relationship. After this route begin to start, there will be many Indonesian visiting to China next year, including China mainland. From Hong Kong, travellers can continue their journey to neighbour city such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macao, or even to another provinces like Xiamen (Fujian) and Guilin (Guangxi).
